For me, this song has been a defining song for the past 5 years of my life. It was VERY difficult to put it to life. It pretty much covers what I have been through. One special person has been asking me repeatedly to do a video for it for quite some time. Finally, I have healed enough to almost do it justice. There is still evidence of the pain buried 5 layers deep in here, but for the most part, I feel it represents what the artists were saying. Chris Martin sings of being in the state of "helplessness ... in a dysfunctional relationship he doesn't necessarily want to escape".
