I received a valuable porcelian antique clock from an aunt that passed away recently and it shattered recently. I gathered the parts to the mechanics up and its still working only the porcelian broke. It was manufactered by the Ansonia clock company and stamped on the back of the time piece is," patented June 18, 1882", there is also a number 4 stamped on it. The glass is beveled and the key works through the front by openning the glass. I beleive it can be used for making another clock but Im not of the mind to do it or finacially able. Is there a market for such items?
