This clock is an example of the finest carving available. Its powerful scene is a testament to the beauty of nature. It depicts a large and powerful eagle coming in to land high in the forest while a hawk and an owl perch delicately on oak branches. Below, two baby birds begin to take flight from their nest. The detail in this carving is truly incredible. Each feather on the wings of the eagle is painstakingly cut. The depth of the leaves give them a lifelike appearance, as does the 3-dimensional eagle above. The large case also holds a large, 36-note music box and long, deep-sounding bellows giving the cuckoo a stately call. Naturally the hands, bird, numbers, dancers, and dial are all of solid wood. Even the pendulum is carved with exceptional detail. The clock comes wrapped in recycled or renewable materials. The clock includes a shut-off switch which gives you the option of silencing the cuckoo and music.
