ken kesey- on flew over the cuckoos nest
jack london- call of the wild
william golding lord of the flies or even Anthony Burgess- clock work orange

i mean at least these novels did what books are supposed to combine idea with story
it seems like all people want is stupid love stories with drama filled plots
