I've been digging through my old stuff and have found this old white ceramic german wall clock. The numbers are written right on the front with no cover. The numbers are brown. It seems to be from the 60's.
On the back, bottom left hand side there is the number 11
On the back, bottom right hand side there is the letter H inside a circle an just below that there seems to be the number 499.
Also on the back on the little metal casing holding in the mechanicals there is a number scratched on or stamped on saying: E265J or it might be T.
It is about 20 cm x20 cm with curved edges. It is wider at the top than at the bottom.
Does anyone know what the name of this clock? And where i can find out some information about it?
Thankyou

I am looking for schemattics for an antique seikosha wall clock in need of repair. Was wondering where I could find the schematics for an old clock like this? Its made by what we know now as Seiko clocks and watches. They use to be called Seikosha. They were/are produced in Tokyo, Japan. This clock was made pre 1920s, maybe 1910; not really sure. I bought it from a seller on ebay and I was not aware that is was in need of repair, so i am having my stepfather work on it for me, he just wants to make sure that hes got it put together right and has all the parts and springs in place right and if he needs anything else for it. I have found some places to get some parts if needed, but no schematics of course. I also wanted to know if there is a place or site that has different clock schematics for all other older clocks in general?

My dad has a clock that my grandmother owned until she died in 1997. It looks similar to this eBay listing:
http://cgi.ebay.com/EXCEPTIONAL-Gustav-Becker-2-weight-regulator-wall-clock_W0QQitemZ190169689532QQihZ009QQcategoryZ13854QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
My grandmother's clock was less ornate than this one, but looks similar enough that I'd say it's from the same manufacturer, Gustav-Becker. It's in Florida and I'm in Utah, so I'm going on memories here. I remember that as a child in 1970, it broke. A repairman was able to fix it, but he told my grandmother "it will run for another thirty years, then it will never work again". The finality of an assertion like that really stuck with me as a second grader.
Sure enough, a few years ago it stopped working. So I’d like to know.
Can you recommend a craftsman skilled with such clocks?
Why would a repairman make such an unusual assertion in 1970?
Is this still the case?

My 1874 German Keinsle wall clock often skips the chime on the hour or half hour and thus gets behind. How can I make an adjustment so it will stop skipping the times it's supposed to chime? Otherwise I'll have to keep pulling the little wire to advance the chime, which I now have to do daily because it keeps skipping points on the hour and half hour when it's supposed to chime.

I recently received a wall clock from my grandmother - there is little known about it, but I found a piece of paper inside under the weight that my grandfather had written on. According to this note, the clock is likely early 19th century and it is called a "Chandler" clock. If anyone has any info on this type of clock, and/or knows of a good website to get information on antiques or a book or pricing guide, I'd really appreciate the help.

I have an antique vienna wall clock trying to find out type and value. Looks familure to gustav becker clocks. Mantle piece on top has a distinctive lians head (circle) protruding in center of wood plus it has a picture of what looks like a nun or a biblical woomen in center of primary peak (in Mantle) I estimate that it is from 1880-1900 time frame. Anyone heard of such design? or know of anyone who may, can send picture.
