You can’t sue, it was YOUR negligence not their fault. Also the Govt is responsible, but you’d be suing the State and most of them are already bankrupt. If this clock was "priceless" why bother setting it? If I had some priceless heirloom it would be for looks, if I wanted to reset it I wouldn’t be taking it off the wall.

Add: The Federal Govt sets WHEN Daylight Savings takes place. They don’t require the States to follow it. Look at Indiana.

In the United States, it’s the US Congress that passes laws relating to Daylight Savings Time. Unfortunately, you can’t sue governmental bodies. All you can do is campaign hard to get the people who voted for it out of office. Just remember that, while everybody really hates DST, most people choose their senators and congressmen based on other issues.
